Blairgowrie, Mint Design
A full landscape build on a contemporary property in Blairgowrie, designed by Mint Design. The scope covered the full property from street to rear boundary, including a front entry garden, zen garden courtyard, kitchen garden, pool surrounds and rear garden.
The build drew on a wide range of elements across the full property. The front entry sequence runs from the street through sandblasted concrete steps and rendered sleeper walls into a courtyard zen garden with quartz pebble base, Hillview boulders and Japanese maple. Beauford sandblasted crazy paving runs continuously through the entry, side path and courtyard. Further into the property, corten steel veggie planters, a custom steel water feature, steel firewood store and a considered utility area with outdoor shower and timber batten gate sit alongside the pool zone, which includes terrazzo aggregate coping, white aluminium batten fencing and a surrounding lawn.
The rendered wall wraps the entire front zone, from the entry steps through the retaining walls and pool surrounds, applied in the same mix throughout. The terrazzo aggregate mix is consistent across the pool coping, pool wall face and concrete seat in the garden.
