Landscaping in Rye
About this area
Rye is a working coastal suburb with a mix of long-established holiday homes and newer builds. Investment in landscape construction here has grown steadily as properties change hands and new owners bring higher expectations for what the outdoor space should do.
Building in Rye
Sandy soils, coastal exposure and relatively flat topography are typical of Rye sites. Drainage is a key consideration. Sandy soil drains freely but can create pooling issues where levels are not properly managed. Salt exposure requires appropriate material specifications for steel, timber and hardware.

"Michael and his crew were, again, fantastic to deal with. This was the 3rd time we used Formed Landscapes for our backyard. Their professionalism, ease of interaction, diligence, prompt work and retention to timelines was comforting and stress free. Cannot recommend highly enough."
