Landscaping in Rosebud

About this area

Rosebud is one of the larger Peninsula townships, a mix of residential, retail and coastal. The area includes both established properties and newer subdivisions, with a range of landscape construction needs from complete garden builds to specific hardscape scopes.

Building in Rosebud

Sandy coastal soils, relatively flat topography and bay proximity define most Rosebud sites. Sub-base preparation and soil conditioning are standard requirements. Salt-rated hardware and appropriate timber and steel specifications apply to exposed coastal sites.

About Formed Landscapes

"Working with Formed Landscapes was a dream. From the initial contact via phone with Michael to the first meeting onsite when we had a building site and plans for the general ideas for the garden we had a good feel from the outset. Michael was able to take our initial plans and adapt these taking into consideration our sloping block. The result is an indigenous native garden we are thrilled with together with wicking beds for veggies and an orchard area. We had some construction challenges that meant the garden had to be built in two stages which Michael and his team took in their stride. We have no hesitation in recommending them."
